A Hong Kong company dealing in the course of its business or business operations any appliance, material or any component thereof which may be used for radiocommunication is required to apply for a radio dealer's licence. However, the above requirements do not apply to exempted radio appliances such as indoor radiophones, portable phones, short-distance interphones, etc. In addition, the licensee is permitted to import and export radio transmitting equipment. 

The following supporting documents should be submitted for application: a copy of a valid business registration certificate, a copy of a registration certificate, if an additional address is required for the storage of the appliances referred to in this licence, one of the following supporting documents of address should be submitted: a copy of a business Registration certificate for the name of the same company and the additional storage address; Or a copy of a valid tenancy agreement for the additional storage address under the same company name. 

Please note: The Communications Authority does not accept applications for storage addresses in public warehouses!( A copy of the Business Registration certificate must include a printed part showing the date of payment, receipt number and amount paid.)
